Our Encrusting
Our encrusting enables you to change the seeds’ weight and smoothens the seeds’ surface using our Circumeo powder blends. You can choose between several characteristics which give you the best suitable encrustment for your market—for example, water-retaining (up to 8 times the volume), weight incrementing and enabling adding high volumes of additives to the seeds.
Using our Circumeo powders in combination with our Fixum binders gives you the advantage of faster drying than usual, e.g. average drying time of encrusted carrot seeds using standard powders and binders takes more than 1 hour, with our Circumeo and Fixum less than 15 minutes. Saving you time, energy and the environment.
Why Choose Our Encrusting
Water Retainment
Encrustment can be used to retain water in dry areas. Our Circumeo powders are developed to retain water and keep the water closely available to the seeds.
Precision Sowing
Precision sowing machines require seeds to be smooth and uniform. Our Circumeo encrustment powders are doing just that.
Weight Increase
Increase the weight of your seeds without increasing the size too much. This treatment enables you to sow light-weighted seeds under windy conditions, e.g. grass, parsnip, scrub and tree seeds etc.
Adding Voluminous Microbials
Some microbials are only available in mixtures to ensure the microbes’ survival. This results in relatively large volumes of products containing the wanted microbes. Encrusting your seeds or granulates with our Circumeo powders makes it possible to add these mixtures and ensure that enough microbes are present.
Short Drying Time
Using our Circumeo powders in combination with our Fixum binders gives you the advantage of faster drying than usual. For example, the average drying time of encrusted carrot seeds using standard powders, binders, and heated air takes more than 1 hour. With our Circumeo and Fixum, using room temperature air takes you less than 5 minutes. We are saving you time, energy while being environmentally friendly.
