We are very excited to announce that Ad Terram USA received the OMRI certificate for our Sapphire seed coat. OMRI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the US that provides an independent review of products, such as fertilizers, pest controls, livestock health care products, and numerous other inputs that are intended for use in certified organic production and processing.
Sapphire seed coat can be used in organic farming, but in 99% of the cases the seed coating is used in conventional farming. There are several reasons why the seed coating of Ad Terram is used instead of traditional seed coatings:
- No drying process needed after coating
- Perfect coverage due to the fact that we coat until Saturation point
- The coating decomposes completely without leaving harmful residues and intentionally added microplastics
- You can add micro-organisms e.g. Mycorrhizae and Trichoderma
